Nawazuddin Siddiqui confirmed his divorce with Aaliya. He said, "Me and Aaliya do not stay together since several years, we are already divorced but we definitely had an understanding only for our kids.”
Nawazuddin Siddiqui said he did not throw his children out of their house. "My kids have been made hostage for past 45 days & are missing their schooling in Dubai," the actor said.
"I am termed as the bad guy because of my silence," Nawazuddin Siddiqui said in his statement. He claimed Aaliya is making accusations to simply 'blackmail' him and 'malign reputation'.
Nawazuddin Siddiqui said his ex-wife Aaliya abandoned the kids in Dubai for last 4 months and called them to India on pretext of demanding money. "She only wants more money and hence have filed numerous cases on me and my mother," the actor said.
In his statement, Nawazuddin Siddiqui said, "On an average, she (Aaliya) is been paid approx 10 lakhs per month for past 2 years and 5-7 lakhs per month before moving to Dubai with my children, excluding the school fees, medical, travel and other leisure activities."
