Filmmaker Pradeep Sarkar, who was best-known for directing films like Helicopter Eela, Mardaani, and Parineeta, is no more. He died at the age of 67. Bollywood celebrities paid tribute to the legendary filmmaker.

                           Hansal Mehta Hansal, who broke the news of his death, wrote on Twitter, “Pradeep Sarkar. Dada. RIP.”

                                   Rani Mukerji Rani, who has worked with Pradeep Sarkar in films like Mardaani and Laaga Chunri Mein Daag, expressed her shock. Rani revealed that they were planning to meet soon.

She also said in her statement, “His wife (Panchali Baudi) called me at 4 am when this happened. She had informed me that he was in remission and he was all ok. He was also shooting these last few days so I don’t know how it all transpired in just a matter of a few hours.”
