Banjo

Ravi Jadhav’s ‘Banjo‘ which hit the theatres this Friday, has not managed to perform well at the box office. On its first day, the film earned Rs. 1.25 crore, with comparatively fair collection in Mumbai.

Mumbai contributed around Rs 60 lakhs to the film’s total collection. In CP Berar, it was Rs 11 lakhs. It had bad collections in North India, especially in Delhi, UP and East Punjab.

This Riteish Deshmukh and Nargis Fakhri starrer was supposed to do good in Maharashtra due to its Marathi flavour, which it partially has. However, it did not live up to the expectations of either the audience or the critics.

‘Banjo’ needs a good jump over the weekend to buck up at the box office.
