A Flying Jatt Team

Director Remo D’Souza is happy with the appreciation his upcoming film ‘A Flying Jatt’ is gaining from all corners. He is now hoping that the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) passes it with minimum cuts and awards it with a ‘U’ certificate.

Remo said, “I hope the film will get ‘U’ certificate as it’s a children film. I have always made kids friendly films. There were no cuts suggested by the censor board for the trailer… They were happy and excited about the film.”

‘A Flyinng Jatt’ has Tiger Shroff depicting the role of a superhero with a turban. Yes, the ‘Heropanti’ actor is playing a Sikh in the upcoming release that has Sri Lankan beauty Jacqueline Fernandez depicting the role of his lady love. The villain in the movie is wrestling star Nathan Jones.

Remo was also worried how the Sikh community and the CBFC board will react to the portions where he has shown Tiger as a Sikh. But the filmmaker heaved a sigh of relief when both reacted positively to it. He further added that, “Initially I was scared how they would react to the Sikh part. While we were shooting, we had taken all the necessary precautions. We have shown the film to the main Sikh community and they have loved it. They have given green signal.”

‘A Flying Jatt’ is produced by Ekta Kapoor under Balaji Motion Pictures banner and is all set to release on August 25.
