As per a media report, Siddharth Anand and the makers of KING are planning on releasing the teaser of the actor’s much-awaited action thriller on his 61st birth anniversary. Siddharth Anand To Launch KING Teaser On Shah Rukh Khan’s 61st Birthday

As per a Bollywood Hungama report, Siddharth Anand and the makers of KING are set to unveil the action-packed teaser of KING on Shah Rukh Khan’s 61st birthday, November 2, 2026. The portal quoted a reliable insider saying, “It’s a birthday gift from team King to all Shah Rukh Khan fans.”

The source further said, “Siddharth Anand is going to deliver a new SRK experience. The teaser cut is apparently mind-blowing with Shah Rukh Khan like never before, delivering larger-than-life dialogues with style and suave.”

The portal also noted that the teaser will kickstart the global marketing campaign for King. For the unversed, there just around 70 days left until the action thriller release in theatres globally on December 24, 2026. Talking about how this teaser will be unlike anything seen before from India in the genre, the insider continued, “If audiences loved the scale of Pathaan and Jawan, Sid has taken things a notch higher with King. The action, thrill, and most importantly music will take the audiences on a ride this Christmas.”

Siddharth Anand directed King is among one of the most awaited films of 2026. It marks Shah Rukh Khan’s return to the big screen after 3 long years (his last release was Dunki in 2023). The action-packed thriller – touted to be one of the most expensive films ever made in India, reported cost the makers a whopping Rs 450 crores.

Aside from SRK, the action thriller also stars King also stars Suhana Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Anil Kapoor, Jackie Shroff and Jaideep Ahlawat in pivotal roles. The film’s ensemble star cast also includes Arshad Warsi, Rani Mukerji, Raghav Juyal, Saurabh Shukla, Abhay Verma, Akshay Oberoi, Karanvir Malhotra and Kashvi Majmundar. The film will also see Kareena Kapoor in a special appearance, as she is expected to set the stage on fire with Khan on a song titled Daddy Cool.
