Earlier there were reports doing rounds in tinsel town that actress Kangana Ranaut had met Salman Khan and was very much keen to use ‘Mental’ as the title for her next project. However, looks like now as per a latest development, the story has quite a twisted tale.

According to Deccan Chronicle, Salman Khan and his brother Sohail have expressed their displeasure over Ekta Kapoor’s upcoming film ‘Mental Hai Kya’ which stars Kangana Ranaut and Rajkummar Rao in key roles.

Further, as per the leading tabloid, the 2014 Sohail Khan directed film ‘Jai Ho’, with Salman Khan in the lead, was originally titled ‘Mental’ but then things did not work out and the movie got another name. However, the title ‘Mental’ had then been stored to be used in the future. And so summing up all things in one, the Khan Brothers have expressed their distaste on Ekta Kapoor’s decision to name her upcoming Kangana Ranaut-starrer as ‘Mental Hai Kya’. After 'Dil Dhadakne Do', Anil Kapoor and Ranveer Singh to play father-son again?

After 'Dil Dhadakne Do', Anil Kapoor and Ranveer Singh to play father-son again?

In Zoya Akhtar’s comedy-drama‘Dil Dhadakene Do’, jhakkas actor Anil Kapoor had played a father to B-town’s live wire, Ranveer Singh. Now if the latest reports are to be believed, the duo is set to play father-son all over again in Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s next.

According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, the ‘Mirzya’ filmmaker had approached Anil Kapoor and Ranveer Singh for his next film, which is apparently a light-hearted story of a father and son. The film’s story revolves around the generation gap between the father and son and how different their ideologies are. Though Anil and Ranveer are keen on collaborating once again, unfortunately, their dates are booked until 2020.

However a source close to the development told DNA, “Ranveer and Rakeysh met and discussed working together. The filmmaker has bounced off the ideas to Ranveer, but nothing has been locked yet. They are going to have a few more meetings before they zero in on the film.” (Also Read:‘Jhakaas’ is an emotion for Deepika just like it is for beau Ranveer Singh)

The kind of energy these two actors posses, it will be apt for them to play father-son on-screen. After watching them in ‘Dil Dhadakene Do’ it will be a treat to see them recreating the magic all over again. However, with no official announcement made on this film yet, all we can do is wait and watch.
