No Shah Rukh Khan and Kangana Ranaut on the big screen anytime soon?

Kangana Ranaut has not yet worked with any of the Khans. However, there was a possibility of the actress starring in a film with none other than Shah Rukh Khan. Reportedly, Sanjay Leela Bhansali was going to cast Kangana and Shah Rukh Khan in a film together. However, it looks like we need to wait for long to see SRK and Kangana on the big screen as the SLB movie might not be happening.

Last year, in an interview with DNA, when SRK was asked about working with SLB, he had stated, “There are two scripts that he’s offered me. One is a period film and the other isn’t. I don’t know which one we’re doing, right now. But these are the only two I have spoken to him about.”

When he was asked about Kangana starring with him in the SLB’s movie, SRK had stated, “Yes, there is a discussion of that film too. I don’t know if that film has been cast. I don’t want to speak out of turn. It is a period setting, but I don’t really sit down and ask, who the other cast members are. It would be wonderful if she’s there, but we haven’t honed on it yet. We have chatted about it, talked about it and we still haven’t sat down and said we’re starting this one. So, that is also very interesting, very nice.”

While these statements of SRK had given us a hope that we will get to see him on the big screen with Kangana, it looks like we still have to wait to see this jodi on the silver screen. So, now according to a report in DNA, SRK has turned down the offer of SLB, and the two won’t be collaborating anytime soon.

A source has revealed, “Shah Rukh is not doing Sanjay’s film anymore. They had several meetings to discuss the scripts in hand last year, but nothing really worked out. SRK politely turned down the movies that were offered to him.”

However, due to this there won’t be any issue between SLB and SRK. The source said, “SLB and SRK are both extremely professional. They don’t let work affect their personal equation. They are good friends and they remain so. They have promised to work together on something very soon.”
