Ranbir Kapoor leaves a party after Ameesha Patel wants to do some ‘private talk’?

Who knew a party would turn this uncomfortable for the Kapoor lad!

Ranbir Kapoor, whose performance in ‘Jagga Jasoos’ was widely appreciated, recently attended a party and was having a gala time. In the same party, actress Ameesha Patel happened to be present. You might think, what’s the big deal? B-townies stumbling upon each other in parties in more than usual. They as well exchange warm greetings. But it wasn’t the case this time. A single move by Ameesha reportedly led to Ranbir leaving the party in silence.

Gossip mongers suggest, the actress walked up to Ranbir and asked to have a ‘private talk’. What private talk? Your guess is as good as ours. But this left Ranbir perplexed. Not able to figure out what ‘private talk’ it could be, he quietly left the party. (Also Read:Ranbir’s beefed-up look is for ‘Dragon’ look test, reveals trainer)

Let us remind you how in the past, many misunderstandings have cropped up between Ameesha and Ranbir’s cousin sister Kareena Kapoor Khan; and their relationship is anything but friendly. However, we never heard about any bad blood between Ranbir and Ameesha.

A report in Mid-Day further suggests, Ameesha as well gatecrashed Randhir Kapoor’s 70th birthday celebration. The Kapoor family spotted her in the party and everyone wondered as to who had invited her.

On the work front, Ameesha’s next film is ‘Bhaiyyaji Superhit’. It also stars Sunny Deol, Arshad Warsi and Preity Zinta. Ranbir, on the other hand, is busy with Sanjay Dutt‘s biopic.

After 'Dil Dhadakne Do', Anil Kapoor and Ranveer Singh to play father-son again?

After 'Dil Dhadakne Do', Anil Kapoor and Ranveer Singh to play father-son again?

In Zoya Akhtar’s comedy-drama‘Dil Dhadakene Do’, jhakkas actor Anil Kapoor had played a father to B-town’s live wire, Ranveer Singh. Now if the latest reports are to be believed, the duo is set to play father-son all over again in Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s next.

According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, the ‘Mirzya’ filmmaker had approached Anil Kapoor and Ranveer Singh for his next film, which is apparently a light-hearted story of a father and son. The film’s story revolves around the generation gap between the father and son and how different their ideologies are. Though Anil and Ranveer are keen on collaborating once again, unfortunately, their dates are booked until 2020.

However a source close to the development told DNA, “Ranveer and Rakeysh met and discussed working together. The filmmaker has bounced off the ideas to Ranveer, but nothing has been locked yet. They are going to have a few more meetings before they zero in on the film.” (Also Read:‘Jhakaas’ is an emotion for Deepika just like it is for beau Ranveer Singh)

The kind of energy these two actors posses, it will be apt for them to play father-son on-screen. After watching them in ‘Dil Dhadakene Do’ it will be a treat to see them recreating the magic all over again. However, with no official announcement made on this film yet, all we can do is wait and watch.

Ranveer Singh recently wrapped up Zoya Akhtar’s ‘Gully Boy’ and is currently busy shooting for Rohit Shetty’s action-comedy ‘Simmba’. Whereas Anil Kapoor will be seen in Atul Manjrekar’s ‘Fanne Khan’ that also features Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Rajkummar Rao in the lead roles. Apart from this film, Anil is also working in Shelly Chopra Dhar’s ‘Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga’, which also stars his daughter Sonam Kapoor. The father and daughter will be working together in s film for the very first time.

Rajkummar Rao to star opposite Kangana Ranaut in 'Imli'?

Rajkummar Rao to star opposite Kangana Ranaut in 'Imli'?

Power-house actor Rajkummar Rao and Kangana Ranaut‘s association goes back to the year 2014. The two equally talented actors had shared screen space in ‘Queen’, which was a box office hit. And now after the successful venture, the two agreed to come on board for Ekta Kapoor’ Mental Hai Kya’, the shoot of which is still going.

And now, if reports in Times Of India is to be believed then this dynamic duo is all set to pair up for the third time. Yes, you read it right! Director Anurag Basu has roped in Rao to play the male lead opposite Kangana in his film titled, ‘Imli’. While this movie will be Kangana’s third venture with Basu, Rajkummar will work under the guidance of Anurag for the first time. A source close to TOI said, “Rajkummar has been signed for the film opposite Kangana. This is his first film with Basu. He is very excited to work with him, as it was always his dream to be a part of an Anurag Basu movie. Raj also happens to be a fan of love stories, so that makes this all the more special.”

Well, if this is true then ‘Imli’ will be worth watching as it has three multi-talented people working on it. Rajkummar Rao has carved a space for himself in the industry with his classics like the recent one ‘Newton’, while Kangana Ranaut too has made a mark in B-town. And obviously, we cannot judge Anurag Basu’s skills as the man has given us a classic piece like ‘Barfi’, which was even nominated for Oscars.
