Did Sujoy Ghosh hint at Shah Rukh Khan’s cameo in Amitabh Bachchan-Taapsee Pannu’s ‘Badla’?

Bollywood actors Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu have once again united after their blockbuster release ‘Pink’. The Sujoy Ghosh directorial ‘Badla’ has Taapsee as Naina Sethi who seeks revenge in her journey to find the truth. Amitabh will once again slip in the skin of a lawyer in the crime thriller. There are rumors abounding in B-Town that Shah Rukh Khan will be seen in a cameo in the Sujoy Ghosh film.

In an interview to Pinkvilla, when Sujoy Ghosh was asked whether Shah Rukh Khan has a cameo in ‘Badla’ or not, the ‘Kahaani’ director answered, “Aapko 8 March ko picture dekhna padega (You will have to watch the film on March 8).”

He neither accepted nor denied it. So we shall have to wait for the film to hit the theaters.

‘Badla’ is a revenge drama and the tagline of the film reads – Maaf Karna Har Baar Sahi Nahin Hota (It is not right always to forgive). The film will also mark the debut of a very talented Malayalam actor Tony Luke.

‘Badla’ is produced by Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment along with Azure Entertainment. ‘Badla’ is an official adaptation of 2017 Spanish movie ‘Contratiempo’, (‘The Invisible Guest’).
