Ananya Panday made her Le Bal Debut in Paris and we can’t wait to see her on screen

We’re all guilty of thinking that those high-society parties where all we see are tuxedos, ball gowns, and waltzing, belong strictly to the Disney princesses’ era or fairytales. But these regal events are not always a figment of imagination of creative heads or belong to Titanic-esque movies. It was a memorable event for India as Chunky Panday’s daughter Ananya Panday was chosen to be a part of the Le Bal des Débutantes in Paris 2017. And the starlet just gave us a glimpse of what we can expect in her Bollywood debut (we’re already restless). Accompanying Ananya were her parents, younger sister and cousin Ahaan Panday.

So, what exactly is this fashion event all about? Every year around Thanksgiving, a high-profile charity ball is organized where the progeny of royalty, business tycoons, aristocracy and film stars are invited to make their official public debut. This year, 25 girls were selected and it was Chunkey Panday’s daughter, Ananya, who overshadowed names like Oscar-winner Reese Witherspoon’s daughter Ava Phillipe, Jaipur’s Princess Gauravi Kumari and Princess Diya Kumari’s daughter. No, we’re not kidding. You’ve got to see her pictures.

Ananya showed up in this breathtaking, shimmery fitted blue and black off-shoulder gown designed by Parisian couturier Jean Paul Gaultier for the ball. She wore an exquisite neckpiece and handcuff bracelet from Payal New York and shoes by Christian Louboutin. Makeup artist and hairstylist Alexandre de Paris and the official partner MAC Cosmetics gave the beautiful star daughter fresh, dewy makeup that retained the innocence on her face. Did you know that Ananya was escorted by her cavalier, Prince Philip of Arenberg, for the evening? Ah! The royal treatment. Proud momma even shared a picture on social media and captioned it,”My Princess at @lebal.paris!@jpgaultierofficial.”

Before the event, she was spotted during the Waltz rehearsals in a tulle ‘Firefly’ dress by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla. Ananya went the no-accessories route for this outfit and wore matching black, lacy heels. What we like about the look? She doesn’t try too hard to look sexy (unlike many other star kids) and looks like a charming teenager who’s still trying to understand the fashion game. Nevertheless, she does a great job at it!

For the after party of Le Bal Des, Ananya looks stunning in a shiny Monisha Jaising silver dress. The number has a sheer back that highlighted her curves well and was styled with matching high heels. And look at those big eyes! Doesn’t she look like her mother Bhavna Panday?

Needless to say, she looks ravishing in all these ensembles and we just can’t wait for her Bollywood debut.
