83 Trailer Twitter reaction: Fans call Ranveer Singh starrer ‘a hit’

The much-anticipated trailer of Ranveer Singh’s sports drama, ’83’ came out only a couple of hours ago. It revolves around India’s historic 1983 World Cup win and for this, Ranveer Singh will be seen stepping into the shoes of Kapil Dev. The film is all set to hit the big screen on 24th December 2021.

The film also stars Deepika Padukone, who plays his wife Romi Dev, Pankaj Tripathi, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Jiiva, Saqib Saleem, Jatin Sarna, Chirag Patil, Dinker Sharma, Nishant Dahiya, Harrdy Sandhu, Sahil Khattar, Ammy Virk, Adinath Kothare, Dhairya Karwa, and R Badree.

Netizens have flooded the internet with reactions and seemed quite impressed with the trailer. Soon after, Twitter also was filled with reactions which everyone shared with hashtags #83TrailerOut, #83Trailer and #ThisIs83.

Fans lauded Ranveer for acing Kapil Dev’s role, a user wrote:  “Ranveer Singh, you’re the best actor of India. This trailer gave me goosebumps and you’ve performed so good in it. All the best, this film is going to break records.” 

Netizens also were impressed with Ranveer and Deepika from ’83 trailer. They also shared fan shared many stills of the couple and wrote, “Deepika Padukone as Romi Bhatia in ’83 with Ranveer Singh as Kapil Dev,” another user wrote: “Ranveer was great in the #83Trailer and i thought he got the mannerisms right too… this will be his film out and out! But of course the fan in me couldn’t take my eyes off of #DeepikaPadukone. Missed her on celluloid, she really brightens up every scene she’s in. Can’t wait. ❤️”
