Aamir Khan is one of those rare actors who never fails to bring something fresh on the table with each of his movies. Whenever his films are announced then naturally everyone’s expectations from the Mr. Perfectionist are high. Everyone’s excitement hit the roof when the actor’s action-adventure film ‘Thugs of Hindostan’ was announced.

However, when the trailer of this highly anticipated film was unveiled, then immediately similarities between Aamir’s character Firangi Mallah and Johnny Depp’s character Jack Sparrow became the talk of the town. In an interview with Bollywood Bubble, the actor finally spoke about the similarities between his character Firangi and Jack Sparrow from ‘Pirates of the Carribean’.

“I don’t think that Victor (director Vijay Krishna Acharya) wrote Firangi based on Jack Sparrow. But yes just like Jack Sparrow even Firangi is very badmaash(naughty). However, I am hoping that people will forget Jack Sparrow after watching Firangi,” shared Aamir.

The actor further added, “I have seen Johnny Depp’s film so I feel my character is written better than Jack Sparrow that’s what I feel. And our film’s story is poles apart from that of  ‘Pirates of the Carribean’.”
