The state of Bihar is facing its worst nightmare as the entire state has been affected by deadly floods. The rescue operation is on but the death toll is increasing by each passing day. Bollywood’s star, Aamir Khan, has done his bit and has come forward to lend his support to the victims.

As per reports in ANI, Aamir has donoted approximately Rs 25 lakhs to Chief Minister’s Relief fund to help speedy rescue operation. Chief Minister of Assam Sarbananda Sonowal shared this news on Twitter and thanked Aamir for extending his support.

Aamir has always been generous and has come forward to help the needy. Through his Paani foundation, Aamir has done a lot for the farmers affected by drought in many villages of Maharashtra. He has also brought light to quite a few issues faced by the needy through his show ‘Satyamev Jayate’.

On the work front, Aamir Khan will be next seen in ‘Thugs of Hindostan’ in which he would be sharing screen space with Amitabh Bachchan, Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh. It is one big-budget film that was being shot in Malta. It is for the first time that we would see Aamir and Amitabh Bachchan in one single frame. It is being produced by Yash Raj Films and is being directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya. His last film ‘Dangal’ was a superhit at the box office and we are expecting this one to be a hit too.
