Bollywood actor Aamir Khan is one of a kind. The ‘PK’ actor has been called Mr Perfectionist because he gives his all to his projects and always believes in bringing something new to the table. However, Aamir Khan’s big bumper Diwali release (November 8) ‘Thugs of Hindostan‘ was panned by critics and audiences alike and did rather mediocre business at the box office.

Now, according to reports, Aamir has taken the full responsibility for the debacle of ‘Thugs of Hindostan’, which also starred Amitabh Bachchan in the lead role. Recently speaking at the Cinestaan India’s Storytellers Contest, Aamir addressed the topic of his film’s failure too.

At the event talking about ‘Thugs of Hindostan’ poor performance, Aamir said, “I would like to say that I take full responsibility for ‘Thugs Of Hindostan’ not working with the audience.” However, Aamir added that the film’s team had put in their best efforts for the magnum opus: “I think we went wrong. I would like to take full responsibility for that. You can be sure we tried our level best. I am feeling very bad for not entertaining the audience. Next time we will try harder.”

Directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, ‘Thugs of Hindostan’ had generated immense buzz as it was the first time Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan were coming together. The film was made on a mammoth budget and had all the ingredients to make it a successful flick. However, it failed to live up to everyone’s expectations.

We are sure Aamir will bounce back as the old saying goes, ‘form is temporary, but class is permanent’.
