Abhishek Bachchan Calls Returning To Sajid Nadiadwala’s Housefull Franchise ‘Homecoming’; Expresses Happiness On Working With Dostana Director Tarun Mansukhani Again

In 2025, Abhishek Bachchan’s notable projects include the dance drama Be Happy, released on March 14th on Amazon Prime Video, and Housefull 5, which will be released on June 6th. Additionally, he is working on Shootout at Byculla, which is in pre-production. During the trailer launch of Housefull 5, Abhishek Bachchan expresses his excitement of returning to the Housefull franchise and working with director Tarun Manshukhani.

Abhishek Bachchan Is Happy To Be A Part Of Housefull 5 And Returning To Comedy Franchise

When asked about working with Tarun Mansukhani after Dostana in Sajid Nadiadwala’s Housefull 5, Abhishek Bachchan said, “Ji bahut hi acha laga. First of all, very many congratulations to Sajid on completing 75 years of Nadiadwala and Grandsons. I think 75 is a milestone because it’s a testimony of love that he has towards our industry. Coming to Tarun, he is family. We have known each other since we were 16. I had the pleasure of being in his first film, Dostana. Working with him is always wonderful, it becomes a holiday for me because you know Tarun is going to take care of everything.”

He added, “I’m so happy that he is back to work. I think he is an amazing talent. And especially in a genre like this, I don’t think there is anybody better than him. And I mean this either way humility and respect to all makers. I hope he continues to work a lot more frequently. Coming to Housefull, like you said, it’s like homecoming, I mean, all of these guys are my friends. And it feels so nice to go on a set which is happy, loving and collaborative. It was a sheer pleasure. I’m thankful to all of them for this opportunity.”
