For the unversed, he was arrested on August 27, NCB had alleged that he was part of an “active drug cartel”. They claimed how the arrest of other accused with drugs and their questioning had led them to Dixit. After a search of his residence, the officials found 8 grams of mephedrone, 20 grams of charas and nine tablets of Ecstasy weighing 0.6 gram, as per Indian Express. Dixit has been booked under various sections of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.

Earlier Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede told ETimes that Gaurav had supplied the drugs to Ajaz Khan, who is currently behind the bars in the same case. The actor is known for his work in Happy Bhaag Jayegi and Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi.
