Sai Gundewar, who was an actor, model, and an entrepreneur passed away on May 10 as he was suffering from brain cancer. He took his last breath in the USA. Sai was operated for this ailment in Los Angeles on February 22, 2019, and since then, he was undergoing post-operative treatment. He is survived by his wife Sapana Amin and his parents.

Sai’s death is a loss to the Bollywood and Marathi film industry. He has appeared in MTV’s ‘Splitsvilla Season 4’, ‘Survivor’ on Star Plus, America’s popular serials ‘S.W.A.T.’, ‘Cagney & Lacey’, ‘The Orville’, ‘The Card’ among others. He has also appeared in Bollywood movies like ‘Rock On’, ‘Love Breakups Zindagi’, ‘I, Me aur Main’, ‘PK’, and ‘Bazaar’. He was in the lead role of a Marathi movie ‘A Dot Com Mom’.

Sai has been posting pictures of him on his Instagram handle and in a few posts he also wrote about his cancer. His last post had the caption, “Hi guys thinking of starting #moringa #supplement in powder from tonight onwards to help get rid of my ##cancer? Weakness and symptoms of #hydrocephalus, anybody using it? Any feed back positive and negative”.

In the picture, he looked unrecognisable as he gained too much weight.
