Aditya Dhar REACTS After Hrithik Roshan Reviews Dhurandhar And Questions Its Politics; Says, “Part 2 Is Coming”

Written, directed and co-produced by Aditya Dhar, Ranveer Singh-led Dhurandhar has impressed the masses across the globe. When millions of views have taken to social media to rave about the film, a few have also criticized it. Doing both was Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan. While the ‘War’ actor praised the film in his second review, he has initially had a much more complex reaction to the spy action thriller. In his initial review – now not visible on his X (formerly Twitter) handle, Roshan had written, “I may disagree with the politics of it, and argue about the responsibilities us filmmakers should bear as citizens of the world.”

Now, director Aditya Dhar has responded to Hrithik’s second tweet and it’s overflowing with love and appreciation. Scroll below to read what he wrote.

Aditya Dhar Reacts To Hrithik Roshan’s Dhurandhar Review

On December 11, Hrithik Roshan took to X handle and shared an admiration-filled review of Dhurandhar. In it he wrote, “Still can’t get DHURANDHAR out of my mind. @AdityaDharFilms you are an incredible maker man. @RanveerOfficial the silent to the fierce what a journey and so damn consistent. #akshayekhanna has always been my fav and this film is proof why.” He further added, “@ActorMadhavan bloody mad grace, strength and dignity!! But man @bolbedibol what you did was phenomenal.. what an ACT, brilliant !! A huge big round of applause for everyone especially the makeup and prosthetics dept! I can’t wait for part 2 !!!”

Responding warmly to Hrithik’s praise-filled post, Aditya Dhar wrote, “Deeply humbled by your love for #DHURANDHAR, @iHrithik Sir. Every actor and every department gave more than 100%, and your appreciation is a huge boost for the whole team. Thank you for celebrating their craft. Part 2 is coming… and we’ll try our best to live up to this encouragement.”

While the review to which Aditya’s responded to is solely filled with admiration, it stands in stark contrast to his earlier views. On Wednesday, December 10, Hrithik reviewed the espionage thriller writing, “I love cinema, I love people who climb into a vortex and let the story take control… DHURANDAR is an example of that. Loved the storytelling. It’s cinema.” However, he also added, “I may disagree with the politics of it, and argue about the responsibilities us filmmakers should bear as citizens of the world. Nevertheless, can’t ignore how loved and learnt from this one as a student of cinema.”
