Ae Dil Hai Mushkil

It was just yesterday that we informed you about an objectionable dialogue in Karan Johar’s recently released romantic drama ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil‘ that landed the movie makers in a soup. Now, the Goa DGP has asked the people to boycott the movie for the dialogue that pokes fun of legendary singer Mohammed Rafi’s singing skills. For those uninitiated, there’s a dialogue in the movie mouthed by Anushka Sharma to Ranbir Kapoor which says, “Mohammad Rafi? Woh gaate kam, rote zyada the na.” This did not go down well with the veteran singer’s son Shahid Rafi who raised objections to the song.

Goa DGP Muktesh Chander too has asked for a boycott on the movie for incorporating such a dialogue that makes fun of the legendary singer. He tweeted saying, “Md Rafi was one of the greatest singers of India and needs no certificate from anyone. If you are a Rafi fan, boycott this movie.” Singer Sonu Nigam too had expressed his displeasure with a tweet.
