Rashmika Mandanna has joined forces with Salman Khan and renowned director Atlee for their upcoming project, bringing thrilling news to fans! The actress has been having a wonderful experience on the set of Salman Khan’s film, Sikandar, where she has expressed appreciation for her co-star’s support during her time of illness.

Sources told Filmfare, “Both Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna had a great working dynamic on the sets of Sikandar. Rashmika’s performance in Pushpa 2 impressed both Salman and Atlee, as well. That’s why the makers have decided to sign her in Salman and Atlee’s upcoming film, too.”

Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna have already shared screen space in the highly anticipated film Sikandar. Rashmika recently met with an accident injuring her leg. She is also awaiting the release of Chhaava, co-starring with Vicky Kaushal. the actress was seen limping on the trailer launch of the film and was helped by Vicky.

About Sikandar

Sikandar is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language action film written and directed by AR Murugadoss and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. The film stars Salman Khan in the title role, alongside Rashmika Mandanna, Kajal Aggarwal, Sathyaraj, Sharman Joshi, and Prateik Babbar. The film was officially announced on 10 April 2024, coinciding with the occasion of Eid. Principal photography commenced the following June in Mumbai and will reportedly be wrapped by December. The film’s songs are composed by Pritam, while the background score is composed by Santhosh Narayanan. The cinematography is by Tirru and the editing is by Vivek Harshan. Sikandar is scheduled to release worldwide on 28 March 2025 in theatres, coinciding with Eid al-Fitr.
