Ahan Shetty To Star In Birsa Dasgupta’s Actioner; Begin Shooting In October – Report

Ahan Shetty made his debut in 2021 with Tadap, is set to star in a new action-drama. This will be his first film in the action genre. After confirming a love story with director Shaad Ali, Ahan has now signed another exciting project.

Ahan To Kickstart Shooting For His Next Actioner In October

Ahan will be working with well-known Bengali director Birsa Dasgupta on this film. The female lead has not been announced yet, but the makers are finalizing the cast and will reveal more details soon, as per Hindustan Times. The source revealed, “Ahan has signed an actioner which will be directed by renowned Bengali director Birsa Dasgupta, and is being produced by Shibasish Sarkar and Ribhu Dasgupta.”

The film doesn’t have a title yet but is expected to start shooting in October this year. It will be Birsa Dasgupta’s first Hindi feature film as a director. However, he has worked on Hindi web series before, including Mafia, Black Widows, and The Magic of Shiri.

Ahan, son of actor Suniel Shetty, is slowly building his career in Bollywood. Apart from this action-drama, he is also part of Border 2, which is expected to release next year.
