Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is currently gearing up for the release of her upcoming movie titled Ponniyin Selvan I. The actress plays a double role in the period drama directed by Mani Ratnam. A photo of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan with actor Trisha, from the sets of Ponniyin Selvan I is making rounds on the internet.

On Thursday, Trisha took to her Instagram and shared the photo featuring Aishwarya. She shared the picture from the Ponniyin Selvan I sets and wrote, “Ash.” The actress posted the unseen photo with Bachchan and showered love on her. And, since then, the internet is in a frenzy about their sweet bond on the sets.

In the photo, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Trisha are seen posing for the photo. Aishwarya can be seen taking a selfie with Trisha. It features the Ponniyin Selvan stars dressed in their onscreen characters. Both look stunning and exude grace in the spectacular photo shared by Trisha on Instagram.

Meanwhile, it was recently reported how Mani Ratnam did not want Aishwarya and Trisha to speak with each other. Furthermore, during an interview, the Ponniyin Selvan director shared the reason behind it and revealed why.

It was recently that the makers of Ponniyin Selvan I released the music album of the movie, directed by A R Rahman. Aishwarya had attended the event with her co-stars. The event saw superstar Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan as special guests. Aishwarya’s humble gesture towards Rajinikanth, during the event, won the hearts of many fans. Her fans were blown away by her kind gesture and humility.

Ponniyin Selvan I, directed by Mani Ratnam is all set to release theatrically on September 30.
