Ajay Devgn avoids commenting on Karan Johar-KRK row

Ajay Devgn’s upcoming directorial venture ‘Shivaay’ is all set to clash with Karan Johar’s ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’. Both the films are much anticipated and many would be aware of the recent controversy that sparked off when Ajay released an audio of Kamaal Rashid Khan (KRK) admitting that he was paid Rs. 25 lakhs by Karan Johar to write in the favour of his film. However, recently at the trailer launch of his production venture ‘Parched’, when Ajay was questioned about the controversy, he opted to keep mum.

Ajay said, “We are talking on such a nice topic and these people have made a film (‘Parched’) on a great issue, so, it would be better we talk only good things.”

This rather comes as a surprise on Ajay’s side, as he had tweeted the phone conversation audio clip between Kumar Mangat and KRK. This was followed by a demand for an investigation as to whether Karan had bribed KRK or not and later clarifying that his intention behind releasing the audio was to only show the fans what KRK had said.

We wonder why he avoided answering this question, strange isn’t it?

‘Shivaay’ marks the comeback of Ajay Devgn on director’s chair after a gap of 8 years. It stars Sayyeshaa Saigal and Erika Kaar (both making their Bollywood debut) in pivotal roles.
