Ajay Devgn hints at Drishyam 2 teaser date? Actor shares ‘purane bills’ from his archives

On Tuesday, actor Ajay Devgn took to his Instagram account and dropped some pictures that seem to be in relation to his upcoming movie, Drishyam 2. He captions, “Kuch purane bills haath lage aaj! (Today, I found some old bills”. The pictures had bills from a restaurant, train tickets, movie tickets and even a CD of a Satsang.

Fans immediately understood that the pictures were shared in connection to Drishyam 2. Nevertheless, the photos have one thing in common and that is the date. Every bill, the date mentioned on it states October 3. This also makes us wonder if Ajay hints at the teaser release date.

Reacting to his post, a fan wrote, “Drishyam2 loading” while another one said, “Sir waiting for the second part.”

Earlier, in an official statement about Drishyam 2, Ajay Devgn said: “Drishyam was loved and it’s a legend. I am now elated to present yet another interesting story with Drishyam 2. Vijay is a multidimensional character and he creates an engaging narrative onscreen. Abhishek Pathak (director) has a fresh vision for this film. I’m keenly looking forward to part 2, filling in the large shoes of the earlier film with people investing in the mystery and the characters.”

The 2015 film Drishyam was directed by Nishikant Kamat, who passed away in 2020. For the second part, Abhishek Pathak has taken over the director’s seat, who has won the National Award. The second part of the movie will begins 7 years after the events in the first film. It tests Vijay’s resolve to protect his family for whom he would cross any limits.

Apart from Ajay Devgn, Drishyam 2 also stars Shriya Saran, Tabu and Ishita Dutta. It will release on November 18 in the cinemas.
