The tragic and untimely death of Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar has shocked the nation. As politician, actors and citizens of the country take to social media to pour in their condolences, actor-politician Ajit Pawar too has expressed grief. While speaking to the media, the BJP MP called the loss ‘really unfortunate’ and ‘saddening.’ During the interaction, he also demanded a thorough investigation to find out what really happened with the airplane. As quoted by ANI, Arun Govil said, “This is really unfortunate. It is saddening that we have lost such a good leader.” The actor-politician further added, “It is crucial that an investigation takes place to understand the cause of this tragic event.”
Ajit Pawar’s Death
The Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra, passed away on Wednesday, January 28 after the aircraft he was travelling in crashed landed. As per reports, the accident took place while the flight attempted to land at Baramati in Maharashtra around 9 am, roughly an hour after taking off from Mumbai. The deputy CM was reportedly travelling from Mumbai to visit Baramati – his hometown, to attend a public meeting amid ongoing Zilla Parishad and Panchayat Samiti elections. According to reports, Pawar was travelling with his PSO and an attendant when the Learjet 45 aircraft crash landed.
Ajit Pawar’s brother, Shriniwas Pawar, said his son Yugendra is in the hospital at Baramati. He also stated that the last rites will be held in Baramati.
Several Bollywood stars took to social media to mourn the loss of Ajit Pawar. The list includes names such as Riteish Deshmukh, Sanjay Dutt, Ajay Devgn, Anupam Kher and more. Actress Kangana Ranaut too express sadness over his tragic demise.
