Music composer and singer, Akhil Sachdeva is currently in Delhi, but a few kilometres away from his family who are also in Delhi. He really feels bad that he can’t meet his parents due to the lockdown. While having a conversation with Bollywood Bubble, the ‘Tera Ban Jaunga’ singer said, “Since 50 days, I have not met my parents in spite of staying in Delhi. I couldn’t attend my dad and brother’s birthdays. I couldn’t be with my mom on Mother’s Day and I turned emotional when I called her. I am alone here but I can’t go there for everyone’s safety.”

Due to the lockdown, many things have come to a halt like movies are not being able to release, music shows and events are stopped and the entire economy is affected. When we asked Akhil about it, he said that the lives of people are more important than anything else right now.

He said, “Cases are rising in Mumbai and Delhi. Even if lockdown gets extended or not, or there might be relaxations, people should not take this as any liberty. A few days back a few family members of my distant relative caught Coronavirus and I know how the entire family is devastated by it.”

“Even if the lockdown gets lifted, people have to be really careful. There were no social-distancing taken care of when the liquor shops opened. Everyone individually should be extra careful. My shows are stopped and I know this year there is less possibility of shows. I am also going through that financial stress for not being able to work the whole year. But life is more important than anything else,” he added.

Recently, Akhil’s new song ‘O Jaanwaale’ released that also features Himanshi Khurana. The song is getting rave reviews from his fans.
