Akshay Kumar refuses to answer questions on #MeToo accused Sajid Khan
Last year, the #MeToo storm shook the entire nation. Names of many bigwigs cropped up on the alleged offender’s list and among them was filmmaker Sajid Khan who was accused of sexual misconduct by multiple women. Akshay Kumar who is part of ‘Housefull 4′ took a firm stand on the allegations against the filmmaker by urging the producers to stop the shoot of the film until further investigation was conducted. Akshay also wrote in his statement that he will not work with any proven offenders.
Taking to his Twitter handle, Akshay had made the following announcement.

Post this, Sajid Khan stepped down as director of ‘Housefull 4’. He was replaced by Farhad Samji.

Akshay then started shooting for ‘Housefull 4’ and last year in November he wrapped up the shoot of this comedy-drama. The movie is releasing this Diwali. Now the actor is gearing up for his upcoming release ‘Kesari’. During a media interaction when a reporter tried to ask a question on Sajid Khan, Akshay turned down the query saying, “Talk about the film (Kesari)”
Talking about ‘Kesari’, Akshay is playing Havildar Ishar Singh, who led the Sikhs and fought against an army of 10,000 Afghan soldiers in the Battle of Saragarhi in 1897. The movie is slated to hit the screens on March 21.
