Akshay Kumar and Sonam Kapoor celebrate their National Award win on the sets of ‘PadMan’

Akshay Kumar and Sonam Kapoor recently received the National Award for their respective films ‘Rustom’ and ‘Neerja’. Well, the two have also been shooting together for the film ‘PadMan’, and they decided to celebrate their win on the sets of the film.

Sonam on her Snapchat had posted a video in which she and Akshay were seen cutting a cake. Well, in the video, we can also see that there were champagne bottles. It looks like the team celebrated Sonam and Akshay’s win in a grand way.

Talking about ‘PadMan’, the film is based on Arunachalam Muruganantham, who invented a machine to make low-cost sanitary napkins. The movie also stars Radhika Apte in a pivotal role. She will be seen playing Akki’s wife in the movie. Reportedly, Amitabh Bachchan has a cameo in the film. The movie was slated to release in January next year. However, as Akki’s ‘2.0’ has been postponed to January 2018, so we wonder what will be the new release date of ‘PadMan’.
