Actor Akshay Kumar and wife, Twinkle Khanna, were involved in a minor accident upon returning to Mumbai on Monday evening. The couple had just arrived from an international trip. They recently celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary when their convoy met with an unexpected incident.

While on the way to their Juhu residence from the airport, an auto rickshaw, suddenly struck by a speeding Mercedes, collided with the actor’s security vehicle. This, in turn, caused the security car to hit Akshay Kumar’s SUV. Fortunately, all individuals involved, including the auto driver and passenger, are reported to be safe.

Eyewitnesses were near the Silver Beach cafe in Juhu, where the accident took place. Akshay Kumar emerged from his SUV immediately after the collision to assist the auto driver and passenger, who were momentarily trapped beneath the security vehicle. The area was crowded at the time, as Sri Sri Ravi Shankar’s event was underway nearby. This drew many bystanders and media personnel.

Despite the severity of the crash, no serious injuries were reported. The auto and its occupants were rescued quickly, with residents and security staff helping to free the auto driver and passenger from the wreckage. A bystander told HT City, “It was frightening to see the accident, but thankfully everyone is safe.”

The incident caused brief traffic congestion as authorities worked to clear the scene. Akshay Kumar, along with his staff, immediately stepped out of his vehicle to assist those involved, ensuring their safety.
