After testing negative for COVID 19 actress Alia Bhatt stepped out with her good friend director Ayan Mukherji. During the occasion of auspicious Maha Shivratri the director- actress duo spotted at a Lord Shiva temple in Mumbai.

Alia was looking dazzling in bright red suit while Ayan was in a white kurta and pyjama. Both of them were sporting three lines of Tripuṇḍra in sandalwood on their foreheads. After their prayers when they stepped out of the temple, the paparazzi surrounded the two. One asked her, ‘Kuch khaas maanga (did you pray for something special?” Alia replied, “Haan maanga par bata nahi sakti (Yes I did but I cannot tell you what it is).” Though we can certainly guess for whom she has prayed!

Ayan is directing Alia and her actor boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor in Brahmastra. Ranbir recently tested positive for Covid-19 and currently he is isolated at home. On Thursday, Alia shared a note on social media that as she has tested negative, she will resume her work.

Alia took to Instagram stories and wrote, “I’ve been reading all your messages of concern and care. I have tested negative for Covid-19 and after isolating and speaking with my doctors, I am back to work from today. Thank you all for all your good wishes! I am taking care and staying safe. You please do the same. Love to you all!”

Alia’s Gangubai Kathiawadi shooting in Mumbai also had to be stopped after the director Sanjay Leela Bhansali and a few of his close associates tested positive for COVID-19 earlier this week. Alia, who will be celebrating her birthday next week, has some great projects in her kitty, Along with Gangubai Kathiawadi and Brahmastra, she will also be seen in SS Rajamouli’s RRR which is currently on the floors.
