Alia Bhatt was speaking at the Critics Choice Film Awards (CCFA). The ceremony saw several others like Shah Rukh Khan, Aditi Rao Hydari, Fatima Sana Shaikh and Richa Chadha.

In spite of being one of the most awaited films of the year, ‘Kalank’ hasn’t lived up to the expectations of the viewers. While Alia looked splendid in a blue jumpsuit, she was asked quite a few questions about her latest film at an event yesterday and she handled the situation with great poise and confidence.

She said, “Janta ki adaalat sabse badi adaalat hoti hai and when the audience does not accept a film, then the film should not do well. That’s just the way it is.” Alia also says that as an artist, she should make sure that they just get back from their failure and ensure that it doesn’t happen again.

The actress from ‘The Dulhaniya Series’ fame has seemingly considered this film’s failure at the box-office to be a stepping stone for greater success in future. The actress is all set for her next release ‘Brahmastra’ on the 20th of December 2019. The film has beau Ranbir Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan in the lead along with her.
