Alia Bhatt’s mother Soni Razdan arrives at the hospital, Mahesh Bhatt says ‘waiting for the new sun’

Bollywood actors Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are set to embrace parenthood soon and welcome their first child. Earlier on Sunday morning, the couple’s car was spotted arriving at HN Reliance hospital. Alia Bhatt’s mother Soni Razdan’s car was filmed arriving at the hospital. The actress’s father, filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt has also reacted to the arrival of his grandchild, amid reports of Alia’s delivery.

Soni Razdan, mother of Alia Bhatt was clicked arriving at the hospital, in her car, for her daughter’s delivery. The car was spotted entering the hospital premises. A paparazzo took to Instagram to share the video. The paparazzo posted the video and mentioned in the caption that it was Soni Razdan in the car.

While Soni Razdan arrived at the venue, Mahesh Bhatt also reacted the news of the arrival of Alia and Ranbir’s baby. He spoke about awaiting the arrival of his grandchild.

Speaking with ETimes, Mahesh Bhatt said, “Waiting for a new sun to rise. A fresh sparkling dew drop of life.”

Earlier when Alia announced her pregnancy, Mahesh Bhatt had said, “Ah, my baby is going to have a baby! I am so happy for Ranbir and Alia. May our ‘tribe’ increase. And now I have to prepare for the most important role of my life: The role of a grandfather. This is going to be a grand debut.”

Meanwhile, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor announced their pregnancy via a post on Instagram. The couple announced they are expecting their first child together. They had made the announcement in only months of their wedding. The couple tied the knot in April, this year.

On the work front, Alia and Ranbir featured on the big screen together, for the first time, in Brahmastra. The couple received immense love and the movie has emerged as a box-office hit.
