Alia Bhatt’s Half Brother Rahul Bhatt Praises Ranbir Kapoor For Being ‘A Good Father’, Says, “He Loves His Daughter, Respects My Step-Sister”

Mahesh Bhatt’s son Rahul Bhatt believes in not mincing his words. After an unsuccessful acting career, he began his journey as fitness instructor. He has often opened up about his troubled childhood and relationship with his father and siblings. In a recent interview, Alia Bhatt’s half brother Rahul Bhatt opens up about Ranbir Kapoor and shared how he is a great father.

In an interview with Hindi Rush, Rahul expressed admiration towards Animal actor and said, “Ranbir is a great father. I think that is the most important thing. A man should… I respect him as that.” When asked about Ranbir’s acting, he added, “Acting? Pata nahi mujhe kuch samajh mein nahi aata hai… acting kaun hai, actor kaun hai, Animal kaun hai, Kapoor kaun hai? Mere ko kuch fark nahi padta. (I don’t understand. Who is acting? Who is the actor? Who is the Animal? Who is Kapoor? I don’t care.) He is a good father. That’s it. He loves his daughter. He respects my step sister. Everything else is all supplementary.”

He also shared how the actor reached out to him and took tips for his stint in Animal. He shared, “During the preparation for Animal, he had some questions. He was heading to Abu Dhabi for weapons training and asked me if it was a good place. He’s very sincere and curious,” Rahul said, adding that their connection goes back to childhood. “I’ve known him since he was a kid. He went to Bombay Scottish and I was in Arya Mandir.”

On the professional front, Ranbir Kapoor has a packed slate ahead. He is expected to star in the Ramayana trilogy, Animal Park (the sequel to Animal), Dhoom 4, and Brahmastra: Part Two – Dev. The actor will also share screen space with wife Alia Bhatt once again in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love And War alongside Vicky Kaushal.
