Amitabh Bachchan has reportedly acquired his second piece of land in Ayodhya. It is located a few kilometers from the Ram Mandir, through the Harivansh Rai Bachchan Trust. This purchase comes after the consecration of the temple in 2024 and marks his renewed investment in the area.
Amitabh Bachchan Buys Second Piece Of Land In Ayodhya?
According to a report from TOI, the newly acquired land measures 54,454 square feet and is situated around 10 kilometers from the temple. The Harivansh Rai Bachchan Trust, established in 2013 in memory of Amitabh’s father, is responsible for this acquisition. Previously, on January 16 of last year, the actor had purchased another plot of land in Haveli Avadh. It was valued at Rs 4.54 crore.
Pratap Singh, the assistant inspector general of the stamp and registration department of Ayodhya, confirmed TOI, “We can only confirm that sale deeds have taken place. Once the building plan is approved by the local development authority, one would know what is going to be the purpose of the two investments.”
Both transactions were reportedly handled by Rajesh Rishikesh Yadav on behalf of Bachchan. Sources indicate that the land in Haveli Avadh is intended for residential purposes. The larger parcel of land recently acquired will be used for charitable endeavors.
