Amitabh Bachchan expresses gratitude for the ‘prayers and wishes’ of his fans in a heartfelt post

Amitabh Bachchan has tested positive for Covid-19 along with his son Abhishek Bachchan, daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai and granddaughter Aaradhya. Both Big B and Abhishek have been admitted to Mumbai’s Nanavati hospital. They all are said to be having mild symptoms and are in quarantine. Big B expressed his deep gratitude towards his fans for their wishes and prayers in an emotional note on his social media profile.

Bachchan took to his Twitter handle and thanked all his fans for their ‘prayers and wishes’. He wrote, “T 3592 – It shall not be possible for me to acknowledge and respond to all the prayers and wishes expressed by them that have shown concern towards Abhishek, Aishwarya, Aaradhya and me .. I put my hands together and say ..? Thank you for your eternal love and affection ..(sic).”

Earlier confirming the news of being infected, Big B has posted a picture of himself and wrote, “This evening I tested positive for COVID 19 .. have been shifted to Hospital .. authorities informed .. family and staff tested results awaited .. all those that came in close proximity to me in the last 10 days please get yourself tested(sic)”
