Amitabh Bachchan lends a helping hand in Versova beach clean up drive

By now we all are familiar with the plastic clean up drive carried out by Afroz Shah on the Versova beach. The man is putting in his best efforts to achieve his clean Mumbai motto and much to his delight, a lot of people are coming forward to extend their support. Today, he was in for a surprise when Amitabh Bachchan showed up on the beach to lend his support and be a part of this clean up drive.

Big B took to his Twitter handle to share some pictures from the beach. Wearing gloves and tackling plastic bags, Big B could be seen helping Afroz Shah getting rid of the litter. We never get to see a megastar like him getting his hands dirty for a social cause, but hat’s off to Big B for coming forward and being a part of this initiative. Not just this, as per reports, Big B has also promised to provide an earthmover and a tractor to mechanise this process of clean up.

On the work front, Amitabh Bachchan has many films lined up for release. He would be seen in ‘Thugs Of Hindostan’ with Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh. The shooting of the same was going on in Malta. It was also recently revealed that Big B suffered a crack in his ribs while shooting for this film. Apart from this, Big B also has 6 other films in his kitty.
