Amitabh Bachchan was among the dignitaries who greeted PSG and Saudi All-Star teams before the match in Riyadh on Thursday. The megastar was invited as a special guest for the PSG and Saudi All-star XI match at the King Fahd International stadium. Big B met football legends Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo ahead of the game.

Lionel Messi’s Paris St Germain take on a Saudi All-star XI led by his great rival Cristiano Ronaldo. Amitabh Bachchan accompanied PSG CEO Nasser Al-Khelaifi to greet the two teams ahead of the match. Big B shook hands with players from both teams, including the likes of Neymar and Kylian Mbappe for PSG.

The Piku star took to social media to share the epic moment and it soon created a buzz on the internet. Sharing the pictures and videos, Big B wrote, “An evening in Riyadh .. ” what an evening .. Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, Mbape, Neymar all playing together .. and yours truly invited guest to inaugurate the game .. PSG vs Riyadh Seasons .. Incredible !“

The video shows the superstar walking in with match officials to the stadium and meeting each and every player. He shook hands with Messi, Ronaldo, Kylian Mbappé and Neymar.

Fans react as Big B met Ronaldo and Messi

No sooner did Amitabh Bachchan share the pictures and video than fans reacted. “The GOAT of Bollywood meeting the GOATs of Football world,” wrote one. “We all proud of you Amit ji. Your modesty and your dignity is something to learn. They are so lucky shaking the hands of the best actor in the world,” wrote another.

Thursday’s game was the first match-up between the two football titans since 2020 and the 37th time in their careers. It could be the last time that they meet on the pitch.

On the work front, Amitabh Bachchan was last seen in Uunchai. The movie also features Anupam Kher, Parineeti Chopra, Neena Gupta and Boman Irani. He will be next seen in The Intern along with Deepika Padukone. Next is a Pan India film with Prabhas and Deepika Padukone titled Project K.
