Amitabh Bachchan misses his father Harivansh Rai Bachchan in the hospital; reads his poems to pass nights

Amitabh Bachchan is currently admitted at the Nanavati Hospital of Mumbai. The actor has been getting treatment for Covid-19 at the hospital along with his son Abhishek Bachchan, daughter in law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and granddaughter Aardhya Bachchan. Big B has been trying different ways to keep himself occupied at the Covid ward with his father Harivansh Rai Bachchan’s poetry.

Big B took to his Twitter handle and shared a video of himself.  The tweet read, “T 3606 – बाबूजी की कविता के कुछ पल । वो इसी तरह गाया करते थे कवि सम्मेलनों में । अस्पताल के अकेले पन में उनकी बहुत याद आती है, और उन्हीं के शब्दों से अपनी सूनी रातों को आबाद करता हूँ । (sic).”

In the video, the ‘Piku’ star is seen reading through a book of poems and reminisced it. In the background was a voice-over by the legendary actor of the poem ‘Hai Andheri Raat Par Diva Jalana Kab Mana Hai’.

The actor has been keeping himself entertained with some great music that was sent him by a friend. Taking to his Twitter he shared a video of a girl singing Ed Sheeran’s Shap of You. The tweet read, “T 3605 – My music partner and dear friend sent me this .. I do not know who this is but I can just say “You are a very special talent, God bless you .. keep up the good work .. you have brightened my day in the Hospital like never before. Mixing Karnatak & Western pop.. amazing! (sic).”
