Netizens slam Big B for staying mum on SSR, Kangana Ranaut; Call him ‘Mahanayak Nahi Mahanalayak’

Amitabh Bachchan is one of the legendary actors in Bollywood. He has an army of fans both nationally and internationally. But, today looks like a section of social media users are not happy with his silence.

Earlier today, ‘Mahanayak Nahi Mahanalayak’ started trending on Twitter as netizens slammed Big B for being mum about Sushant Singh Rajput’s death, Kangana Ranaut’s statement on Bollywood or any other social issues.

After Sushant’s death on June 14 and post the CBI and NCB’s interrogation, the industry has very divided opinion as many are in support of Rhea’s arrest while there are some celebrities who called it a ‘witch hunt’ and have shown their support to Rhea. But Big B never spoke about any of these issues.

Post that, Kangana’s Bandra office was partially demolished by the BMC deeming it illegal construction. The actress found support in many celebrities, but netizens feel the ‘Piku’ star was mum even then. He also never said anything about Kangana’s several accusations on the film industry especially the drug consumption.

The netizens seemed to have riled up as the hashtag #महानायक_नहीं_महानालायक has been trending on Twitter. Amitabh Bachchan has been trolled brutally by the netizens for his silence. One user wrote, “Ram Mandir – Chup Sushant – ChupDrugs – ChupKangana – ChupStop Chasing money and fame mr. Amitabh.. #महानायक_नहीं_महानालायक”.

Another user wrote, “Amitabh Bachchan is Manmohan Singh of Bollywood – Silent on Palghar – Silent on Sushant – Silent on Ram Mandir – Silent on Drug use.”
