Aneet Padda Turns Schoolgirl For Shakti Shalini; BTS Video From Gwalior Sets Goes VIRAL- Watch

Aneet Padda stepped into Bollywood last year by playing the lead in Mohit Suri’s Saiyaara. Co-starring Ahaan Panday, the 2025 musical romance became a blockbuster hit thanks to its songs and the the lead actor’s crackling chemistry. Soon after impressing the audience with her performance in the YRF film, Aneet was announced as the lead in Maddock Films’ Shakti Shalini.

The sixth installment in the MHCU (Maddock Horror Comedy Universe), will see Aneet as the titular character Shakti Shalini – the mother of all. While fans will have to wait till December 2026 to see her performance, a video from the sets has gone viral on social media. Aneet Padda’s School Girl Look From Shakti Shalini Goes Viral

Earlier today, a video began circulating on X (formerly Twitter) from what’s believed to be Shakti Shalini’s set in Gwalior. In the viral BTS video, Aneet Padda can be seen dressed in a green school uniform, complete with a braided hairstyle. Captured between shoots, the clip sees her walking on the set with her team. This look has sparked curiosity amongst her fans and fans of the MHCU. Soon after the clip was shared online, fans began resharing it. Commenting on the clip, one fan wrote, “I hope ss work for her. People are already out there ready to pounce on her.” Another fan wrote, “Maddock better be making this one good. All the best to aneet and team.” A third stated, “this is most probably flashback. She is not playing a role of schl girl.”

Aneet Padda’s entry into the Maddock horror-comedy universe was announced in the end credits of Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna’s Thamma. After the initial credits rolled, a slate announcing Aneet as Shakti Shalini appaeared along with the message – “The protector. The destroyer. The mother of all. Aneet Padda in Shakti Shalini. Shakti unleashed Dec 24, 2026.”

Alongside Aneet, the film stars Vishal Jethwa as the male lead and Vineet Kumar Singh as the antagonist. The film – directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, began principal photography in March 2026.
