Anil Kapoor Veeru Devgan Mr India

Bollywood suffered a huge loss on May 27 as Ajay Devgn’s father Veeru Devgan passed away. The senior Devgn was a celebrated action choreographer and also an ace filmmaker. Many prominent Bollywood celebs have been paying their final respects to Veeru Devgan. And it is a very tough time for Ajay and his family.

Now, veteran actor Anil Kapoor took to his Twitter account and paid homage to Veeru Devgan. Anil wrote, “#MrIndia was made iconic by its children friendly action scenes & Veeru’s Midas touch. I want to dedicate its 32nd anniversary to the man who made these unforgettable moments possible. #VeeruDevgan was an amazing man & I’m lucky to have worked with him. He is sorely missed… ” Incidentally, today is the 32nd anniversary of  ‘Mr India’s release.

‘Mr India’ remains an iconic film and there are speculations of ‘Mr India 2’ getting made. This, after Shekhar Kapur met Anil Kapoor.
