Anil, Boney And Sanjay Kapoor’s Mother Nirmal Kapoor Passes Away At 90

Nirmal Kapoor, the mother of Anil Kapoor, Sanjay Kapoor, and Boney Kapoor, passed away in Mumbai on Friday, May 2. She was admitted to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital due to age-related health issues and breathed her last around 5:45 pm.

At the age of 90, her demise has deeply saddened and shocked the entire Kapoor family. Following her passing, Boney Kapoor, along with Janhvi Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor, Shikhar Pahariya, and Shanaya Kapoor, were seen arriving at the Kapoor residence in Lokhandwala. They covered their faces with masks and hurried inside to avoid the paparazzi outside.

Just last September, the Kapoor family came together to celebrate Nirmal Kapoor’s 90th birthday. Khushi shared a heartfelt photo on Instagram featuring herself, Anil Kapoor, Sunita Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Anshula Kapoor, and other family members, marking a cherished family moment. Anil Kapoor shared heartfelt photos with his mother on Instagram, captioning them, “90 years of love, strength, and endless sacrifices. Your presence brings joy and positivity into our lives every day. Blessed to be your child. Happy birthday, Mummy!”

The cherished matriarch of the Kapoor family, Nirmal Kapoor was also the grandmother of Sonam Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor, Shanaya Kapoor, and Anshula Kapoor. Her late husband, producer Surinder Kapoor, passed away in September 2011 due to a cardiac arrest.
