Anupam Kher Calls Raj Shamani ‘FAKE’? Actor Calls Out Podcaster For “Cutting Out His Advice On Humility”

Anupam Kher is one of the most renowned actors not just in Bollywood but in the West too. The actor – who has been entertaining the audiences for over 40 years now and has started in hundreds of immensely-loved films, recently made a statement calling out a podcaster for editing out his advice. While the actor didn’t take names, netizens have deduced that he was talking about podcaster Raj Shamani based on the way he spoke. Anupam Kher Calls Raj Shamani Fake?

During a recent sit-down interview with Chalachitra Talks to talk about his recent film Tanvi The Great, Anupam Kher asked the podcaster if he had watched the film. When the podcaster revealed he hadn’t, Anupam schooled him, saying, “You should always research your guests and watch their latest films before inviting them. Otherwise, what is the point?” Kher added that his statement should be used in the final cut and not edited out

During the same conversation, Kher – without naming Raj Shamani, called the podcaster a ‘fake’ who edited out portions of his interview to gain attention . The veteran actor said, “He asked me, ‘If you had to give me advice, what would it be?’ I didn’t say it on my own. Then I gave him a long piece of advice. I told him, ‘Son, don’t let success change you. Success should mean becoming more humble. While you sound humble, the atmosphere in your office feels different. You’ve come from a small town, and that simplicity should remain.'”

Kher: Whenever I Hear Him Talk About Genuineness…

The actor added that the above-mentioned quote was cut out from the final episode and used in between. Anupam added that he was disappointed, and thus, whenever that podcaster talks about genuineness now, he questions it. Tagging that person as ‘fake’ – who netizens have deduced as Raj based on hints provided by the actor, Anupam said, “That means he is fake. Because you asked me for advice, and then you cut out the part I said. Whenever I hear him talk about genuineness, I’ll always question that.”

Raj Shamani, who featured Anupam Kher on his podcast last month, is still to issued any response to the recent comments.
