Actor Anupam Kher recently visited an Apple store in New York but came out disappointed. Well, he took to his Twitter handle and dropped a video where he is seen showing his viewers a wide range of customised Apple watches. The highlight of the watches is that they are representing each of the nations that participated in the Tokyo Olympic 2020 Games. However, the reason behind Kher’s disappointment was the store didn’t display India’s watch in their collection, claiming that the country is one of the largest consumers of Apple products.

In the video, Anupam Kher shows watches that are representing countries including Jamaica, France, Australia and Canada, among others. Moreover, the initials of the countries were also written in the front of the watches. But much to the actor’s surprise, a watch repressing India was missing. For the unversed, in Tokyo Olympics 2020, India won 7 medals, including a gold medal in different categories. The entire nation hailed and applauded the players for their powerful performances in the Olympics this year.

Sharing the clip, Anupam wrote, “Dear @Apple! Visited your store on 5th ave in NY! Impressive! There were watches of International Olympic collection representing flags of various countries! Was disappointed not to see INDIA’s watch there? I wonder why? We are one of the largest consumers of #Apple products!

Reacting to the video, a fan explained the reason for them not displaying India’s watches. “@AnupamPKher Sorry that you are disappointed, so am I! But this is not @Apple’s mistake.. Unlike other counties Indian flag is not allowed by law to be used on caps, Tshirts and other places but just used as flags!” While the other one also commented on the same lines, “It could be due to extremely restrictive flag code of India, which limit its use especially in merchandise
