Anushka Sharma prays ‘rain to go away’ ahead of Indian team’s match against New Zealand in WTC Final
The Indian cricket team is all set to take the challenge against New Zealand in the WTC Final that kicks off on Friday. And actress Anushka Sharma, who is accompanying husband and team India captain Virat Kohli on the trip is praying for the rain to stop so the five-day game can Kick off smoothly.
Taking to her Instagram stories, Anushka first shared a picture of the Indian cricket team. She captioned it as, “These guys.”
However, with the rain playing spoilsport, the actress was reminded of the nursery rhyme. The actress praying rain to go away wrote, “Rain…. rain…. go away ! come again after 5 days”.
Earlier Anushka had posted a photo on her Instagram story that showed how she is loving the rainy English summer. Anushka also posted a series of photos on her handle with the caption, “A ‘take random photos and think of a quirky caption’ kind of post.”
