Virat Kohli and his wife Anushka Sharma recently paid a spiritual visit to Premanand Ji Maharaj at his Ashram Shri Hit Radha Keli Kunj, located at Varah Ghat in Vrindavan. In a widely shared video, the couple is seen engaging in a heartfelt and spiritual conversation (Ekantik Vartalaap) with Premanand Maharaj.

The video, posted by Bhajan Marg’s official Instagram account, captures Premanand Maharaj advising Kohli and Anushka to view their work as a form of “service to God.” He emphasised, “Apne karyakshetra ko bhagwan ka seva smajhiye. Gambhir bhav se rahiye. Vinamra rahiye. Aur khub naam jap kijiye.” (Treat your work as your service to God. Stay serious and humble. And chant the divine name with devotion.)
This visit marks the couple’s third trip to Vrindavan this year, coming shortly after their return to India from the UK last week. Earlier, in January, Virat, Anushka, and their children visited Vrindavan to seek blessings from Premanand Ji Maharaj. They also sought his blessings a day after Kohli announced his retirement from Test cricket in May, highlighting the spiritual connection they share.
Virat’s Upcoming Match
While Kohli remains active in cricket—playing ODIs and participating in the Indian Premier League (IPL)—he is set to appear in the Vijay Hazare Trophy starting December 24. The 37-year-old recently returned to the UK after India’s three-match ODI series against South Africa, which concluded on December 6. The couple is currently residing in the UK with their children, Vamika and Aairah.
Kohli is expected to play a few matches for Delhi in the Vijay Hazare Trophy before joining the Indian team. They will be competing in upcoming three-match ODI series against New Zealand, scheduled to begin on January 11.
