Apoorva Mukhija Aka The Rebel Kid To Skip Cannes 2025 Following India’s Got Latent Controversy; Says, “Gaali Nhi Khani”

Apoorva Mukhija, also known as The Rebel Kid, has been in the news for a few months because of the India’s Got Latent controversy. When she threw insults on the Samay Raina show, she received a lot of trolling. The panel also included Jaspreet Singh, Ashish Chanchlani, and Ranveer Allahbadia in the episode. Apoorva Mukhija recently admitted that she will not be attending Cannes 2025 in an Instagram conversation with a social media follower.

Apoorva Mukhija To Avoid Going To Cannes 2025

Apoorva took to Instagram and shared some pictures of her Goa vacation. During a Q&A session on Instagram, one of the users asked others if they want to see Apoorva Mukhija aka The Rebel Kid gracing the red carpet of Cannes 2025. She quickly noticed the comment and decided to reply to it. She wrote, “Gaali nahi khani.”

In one of her posts after the controversy, Apoorva Mukhija confessed that she got rape threats, death threats and abusive messages in DMs on her social media handles. She also had to leave her house after the controversy.

Apoorva Mukhija was one of the jury members at the India’s Got Latent show along with Samay Raina, Ranveer Allahbadia, Jaspreet Singh, and Ashish Chanchlani. After their alleged “vulgar and offensive” remarks surfaced the internet the video of the episode has been taken down from YouTube.

After the comments, multiple FIRs were lodged against them, and they were called by the Maharashtra Cyber Cell to document their statements.
