Arijit Singh was all set to mesmerize fans with his concert in Abu Dhabi, however amid rising India-Pakistan tensions he has postponed the show. The same was announced by a note on his social media.
Arijit Singh postpones Abu Dhabi Concert
The note on Arijit’s Instagram read, “Dear Fans, Due to recent events, we have made the difficult decision to postpone the Arijit Singh live concert in Abu Dhabi, originally scheduled for 9 May 2025, at Etihad Arena, Yas Island. We deeply appreciate your patience, support and understanding during this time. We are working closely with the venue and the new date will be announced soon. All purchased tickets will remain valid for the rescheduled date, or you may opt for a full refund within 7 days, starting 12 May 2025 (Monday). Thank you for your continued love and support, we look forward to creating unforgettable memories with you soon. With love, Team Arijit Singh Live.”
Last month, in a mark of respect and solidarity following the horrific terror attack in Pahalgam, Arijit had cancelled his concert in Chennai. Like Arijit, Shreya Ghoshal had also cancelled her concert. Shreya cancelled her Surat concert, part of her All Hearts Tour.
On the work front for singer, recently it was announced that he will collaborate with Sony Nigam for Sandese Aate Hai 2.0 for Border 2. The film is a spiritual sequel to 1997 film Border and stars Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Ahan Shetty and Diljit Dosanjh in pivotal roles.
