After 5 years of sheer hell, Arjun Rampal is in a happy zone thanks to girlfriend Gabriella Demetriades

On Saturday, Arjun Rampal hosted a lovely baby shower for his girlfriend Gabriella Demetriades, who is expecting their first child. The actor was seen in high spirits as he made sure to make the baby shower a memorable one for his beloved. Arjun lost his mother Gwen Rampal in October last year. Being extremely close to his mother, the actor went through sheer hell for five years as his mother battled cancer.

Opening up about the tough phase of his life, Arjun told Mumbai Mirror, “It’s been sheer hell for the last five years but what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger, doesn’t it?”

For the first time, the ‘Rock On!!’ actor also revealed how he met his partner Gabriella and how his daughters have accepted her.

“We met through common friends. So, what can I say? It’s only been a year since we started dating and here we are. For keeps. And I must add that it was of prime importance that my daughters should accept her as part of the family. I’m blessed that they have, no questions asked,” shared the actor.

Arjun’s younger sister Komal told the tabloid how he was depressed after the death of their mother. “Arjun was in the doldrums, both of us were extremely close to mom. We’re trying to get over our loss. Thankfully, he’s in a happy space now that he’s with Gabriel. Life has to move on,” said Komal.

On the work front, Arjun is busy these days as his production company will be launching a few dramas very soon. The actor is yet to announce his next feature film.
