Kangana Ranaut made her Bollywood debut with Anurag Basu’s ‘Gangster’ that released in 2006. In the last 13 years, Kangana has won three National Awards and made a mark for herself in this industry. This is a very big achievement considering the fact that she comes from a non-filmy background.

Kangana’s personal and professional life has always been tabloid fodder. The actress never ceases to rub the industry people in the wrong way with her brutally honest comments and opinions. In the last few years, her alleged affair with Hrithik Roshan and her spat with writer-director of her films have grabbed the headlines.

Post the release of her last film ‘Manikarnika: the Queen of Jhansi’, the actress (in one of her interviews) had revealed that she is planning to make her biopic. Now confirming the news, renowned writer Vijayendra Prasad has revealed that he is penning Kangana’s biopic. Prasad told Bollywood Hungama, “Yes, I am writing it. But, I’m not directing it.”

Vijayendra is a celebrated name down south. Apart from ‘Manikarnika’, he has written the stories of blockbuster films like ‘Baahubali’ and ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ to name a few.

Earlier, talking about her biopic, Kangana told Mumbai Mirror, “Yes, it is true, my own story is the subject of my next directorial. But it is not a propaganda film with characters who are starkly black and white, rather it is a sincere, heartfelt account of my journey so far with plenty of lighter moments. I’m emboldened by the love of the people around me, who have never judged me but accepted me for who I am.”

Well, let’s see how her biopic shapes up. But one thing is for sure that though the biopic won’t be naming anyone, it will highlight all the controversial aspects of the ‘Queen’ actress’ life.
